IT assistant for technical support - System Administrator

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated system administrator to join our team and take on an additional role in planning, implementing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, problem solving experience and the ability to provide IT support to employees in various locations.

Job duties:

Monitoring of system performance, network and user requirements for optimal functioning.

Providing daily IT support to employees, solving problems with user equipment and applications.

Identification of user needs and proposing improvements to the IT system and user experience.

Development and maintenance of data backup solutions, including data recovery testing.

Solving technical problems in the IT infrastructure while following security standards.

Automation and optimization of system processes to increase efficiency.

Documenting technical processes and updating manuals, protocols and standards.

Planning, implementation and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including workstations, servers and network devices. 

Uploading workstations to a domain controller, enabling access to servers and virtual machines, along with installation and configuration of the necessary software.

Participates in data backup processes to ensure safe storage and recovery of data from the computer.

Candidate requirements:

Experience in Windows server administration.

Experience in troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems.

Experience in Linux system and server administration.

Knowledge of Bash and Python scripting.

Experience with virtualization management (Proxmox, VMware).

Experience working with MikroTik, Cisco, UniFi, Extreme... network equipment.

Knowledge of Cloud services (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).

Experience with monitoring and alarming systems (Grafana, Prometheus, Icinga, Checkmk).

Experience in improving system security (patch management and optimization).

Ability to produce technical documentation at a high level.

Experience in Exchange Office 365 administration.

Knowledge of basic networking concepts, including email, firewalls, network security and protocols.

Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting computers and printers is preferred.
