The Domes Resorts hotel group, one of the fastest growing hotel groups in the Mediterranean, is hiring a Pastry Cook for the 5* hotel Domes Noruz Chania, an Autograph Collection Resort in Chania, Crete for the 2025 season. Duties: Preparation of a wide variety of pastry items following traditional and modern recipes. Creating new and exciting desserts to refresh our menus and capture customer interest. Decorating desserts, using different types of icing, toppings, etc. to ensure a beautiful and impressive appearance. Monitoring stocks of basic materials such as flour, sugar, etc. and placing the appropriate orders within budget. Control of the quality of materials, condition of equipment and devices used in manufacturing. Maintaining a clean and tidy post and complying with health and safety standards. Requirements Necessary Qualifications: Graduate of cooking school. At least 2 years of experience in à la carte restaurants or 5* hotels. Knowledge and adherence to health and safety procedures. Good command of the English language. Adaptability to the work environment. Offer and availability of high standard services. Spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Neat appearance, cleanliness.
