Project manager for a major client organisation

Do you want to work as a project manager in a client organisation, where you will be responsible for the cooperation with design advisers and authorities? Here you will be a key player in the development and construction of larger construction projects, such as townhouses and apartment buildings.
At Birch Ejendomme, we develop and build DGNB-certified housing. The homes are typically built in project packages of 80-300 homes, which places high demands on the overall understanding of the projects. We have a broad interdisciplinary environment and work both with building technical optimisations, infrastructure, nature and community between the buildings.
Builder responsibility and project management of major constructions await you
You get your daily routine at our head office in Silkeborg. Here you will be part of our Project Team, where you will have ten wonderful and talented colleagues. In addition, you will be part of the collaboration across an organisation, where we handle both development and planning as well as construction management of our projects.
As a project manager, you are typically responsible for three projects with 70-200 homes per year. project, which you run through the design phases in close dialogue with advisers and other internal stakeholders. You will have ample opportunity to challenge and develop your professional skills within project management and the construction engineering field.
Your future area of responsibility

You look after the project's interests vis-à-vis advisers and authorities in the role of client, while our construction management is responsible for the coordination of the construction site
You are responsible for the schedule and project execution in the design phases and thus ensure a well-worked and buildable project on time and within the agreed financial framework
You coordinate and manage an internal project team of 10-15 colleagues, who are specialists in each of their areas of expertise, and you have overall responsibility for an advisory team of the same size

Who is our future colleague?
We imagine that you have strong construction technical insight and preferably an education as an engineer, architect, building designer or machinist with an understanding of technical installations. You have experience with project management and design of multi-storey buildings, and you come from a role as project manager/design manager/builder's advisor in a consulting company or as project manager in a construction company.
