Job Description

Then maybe it's just you we're looking for!At the Authority for the Elderly and Aids in Assens Municipality, we're looking for a team leader for our Aids depot.
The position is advertised as our team leader has chosen to take early retirement for many years.
This is a permanent position of 37 hours per week with entry on 1 June 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Aid depot
The aid depot is organizationally located in the Authority for the Elderly and Aids - the Authority's department under Rehabilitation and Elderly, Social and Health in Assens Municipality.
Eight employees and one team leader are employed at the Aid depot. You will get your daily treatment at Hjælpemiddledepotet, Bogensevej 135, 5620 Glamsbjerg.
The core task of the Aids Depot is to deliver, take home, wash, maintain and repair lending aids to the municipality's citizens who need them, just as delivering work environment tools to the municipality's health and care workers is an important task.
About the job
As a team leader, you will be responsible for the professional and personnel operation and development of the Aid depot, just as you will be involved in the day-to-day operational tasks.
Together with the head of the Authority for the Elderly and Aids, who is your immediate manager, you are responsible for the operation and finances of the area in relation to the current budget.
In the job, you will work with the following tasks:
Work organization and coordination of tasks across functions at the depot
Have a focus on efficient resource utilization
Cooperation with the purchasing department on purchasing and trading agreements
Management and development tasks in close collaboration with the department head
Ensure close management for the employees employed at the depot
Contribute to transversal collaboration
Hold MUS interviews and prepare individual competence development plans once a year
Purchase of aids and spare parts
Other warehousing/logistics tasks as they arise
Minor repairs of aids at the depot and in the citizen's own home
Collaboration with therapists on adaptations of aids
Contact with citizens in connection with deliveries and citizens who come to the depot

who are you
You probably have a craft background - preferably supplemented with management training at diploma level.
However, your educational background is not so decisive for us – rather, your knowledge of logistics, your approach to management and your managerial experience are.
It is important that you have good managerial skills and experience to lead the staff at the depot.
You place a high value on trust and communication, and you have a motivating approach to engaging in dialogue with employees and relevant partners.
As a manager, you are visible, and you appreciate the professional and human dialogue and can be a sparring partner for the employees in their work.
You see the employees as individuals, respect their differences and are able to unleash their professionalism.
You also have experience with tenders, purchasing and logistics.
In addition, we emphasize that you:
has a high degree of technical ingenuity
have knowledge of KMD Nexus Health Logistics (is an advantage, but not a requirement)
has a distinct sense of order and is good at planning
