Job Description

Multinational company and global leader in the field of high French pastry is looking for a person for the central production of the stores in Athens for the position: Head Deputy Pastry Chef General position description The Head Deputy Pastry Chef will support the Production Director of the unit in the management and organization of production, ensuring quality, consistency and innovation in the products. He will have a leadership role in the confectionery team, contributing both to the creation of new products and to the efficient operation of the laboratory. He is responsible for the preparation of the entire range of products according to the standards, schedules and recipes of the company. The right candidate should act according to the company's standards and values. Responsibilities Support and replacement of the Production Manager - Ex. Pastry Chef in all daily production processes Management and training of the pastry team, ensuring efficiency and high performance Overseeing the quality of desserts and applying strict production specifications Participate in the creation of new recipes and product innovation Control of supplies, stocks and management of raw materials Implement and adhere to hygiene and safety rules (HACCP) Ensure smooth operation of the laboratory and timely delivery of products Necessary qualifications Pastry degree from a recognized school (domestic or international) At least 4 years of experience in a position of Senior Pastry Chef or similar leadership position Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques and expertise in French patisserie and viennoiserie Ability to manage and lead a team Attention to detail and creativity in dessert presentation Ability to communicate in Greek & English Knowledge of food hygiene and safety rules Interpersonal skills Leadership and team spirit Flexibility and ability to adapt to a demanding environment Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems Passion for confectionery and willingness to continuously develop The company offers: full time competitive salary package (commensurate with experience and skills) continuous training & development opportunities pleasant and dynamic work environment If you have the necessary skills and aspire to develop in the field of fine confectionery, please send your resume!
