Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and talented Chef to coordinate the operation and organization of the kitchen. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality and excellent execution of dishes by supporting the team in achieving high standards of gastronomy and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the kitchen team, assigning responsibilities and monitoring performance.
Prepares the menu, accurately & consistently executing the Chef's recipes
Track supplies, orders and cost control.
Ensuring the kitchen operates in accordance with HACCP regulations.
Mentoring and developing skills of the kitchen team.
Performs any work requested of him by his direct supervisor
Qualifications:
Culinary school degree or equivalent training.
At least 3 years' experience as a Chef, preferably in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
Ability to organize and manage a team.
Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety rules (HACCP).
Good knowledge in implementing ISO 9001, 14001 & 22000 management systems.
Skills and experience:
Coordinating and motivating the team.
Good time management & problem solving skills.
Ability to work in a demanding environment.
Development of unique taste experiences.
Ensuring the aesthetics and quality of the dishes.
