Neuropsychologist - substitute

At the Department of Neurology, Bispebjerg and Frederiksberg Hospital, we are looking for a maternity substitute for a neuropsychologist for 37 hours per week. The position is available for occupation from 1 June 2025, up to and including 29 May 2026. The position is associated with the neurological outpatient clinic and the general neurological ward. As a substitute, you will become the primary neuropsychologist in our Parkinson's team and tumor day hospital, as well as part of the neuropsychologist team on a mixed neurological ward. The tasks will, among other things, pass in neuropsychological assessment and diagnostics. You will primarily have to make assessments of Parkinson's, dystonia and tremor patients, etc. the decision on DBS surgery and dementia evaluations of parkinsonian patients. In addition, you will have to assess the rehabilitation needs of both outpatients and inpatients on the general neurological ward, including tumor patients, head trauma, neuroinfections, etc. The position also includes supportive conversations with patients and relatives of the above patient groups both on an outpatient basis and during hospitalization, participation in interdisciplinary meetings and teaching of both patients and staff. There will be the possibility of supervision by a specialist in neuropsychology. Applicants who are in the process of specialist training in clinical neuropsychology, or others who need experience with neurological patients in a hospital setting, are encouraged to apply for the position. Who we are: We are 5 neuropsychologists who work together to solve the tasks in the department in a safe and educational community. We work closely with the other interdisciplinary staff. The Department of Neurology consists of an Acute Neurological Reception (Dept. N10A), a general neurological department (Dept. N31), a stroke department (Dept. N11) and several outpatient clinics and day hospitals. We receive both acute and elective neurological patients from the hospital's admission area after referral from our own doctor, specialist doctors, the emergency department and other hospitals.
