The crisis center is run according to SEL §109 and has room for 9 people. The residents have all been exposed to violence by one or more of their close relations and have a psychiatric diagnosis and/or an active use of drugs. With the offer at Carolinesminde, the residents have the opportunity to seek safety and protection on an equal footing with other people in Denmark in a safe, spacious and appreciative environment where the efforts are based on interprofessional collaboration between the educational, social work and health professions.
We work with strong people who have managed to live in and survive violence in their close relationships. It is our task to act in a respectful, guiding manner and make our professional knowledge available based on the individual wishes of each resident.
We work with "wild problems" and are very aware that this requires alternative, flexible and individual solutions.
About the position as educational employee, 32-35 h.
As an educational employee, you are mainly at work in the evenings and on weekends/holidays. Together with another educational employee and a contact person, you will be involved in teamwork around 3-4 residents at a time. In addition, it is your task to be in the house, maintain the framework for the residents' stay, assist with urgent and ad hoc tasks and maintain the safety and well-being of the residents who are accommodated.
About you:
- You are a trained pedagogue, social worker, nurse, social and health assistant or similar.
- You have strong relationship skills.
- You have experience of working in an inpatient institution or in psychiatry and see advantages in having fewer but longer working days.
- You can naturally fit into the residents' living environment and see a strength in both being part of everyday life and inviting in the violence and social work efforts.
- You have a general driving license. car.
- It is an advantage if you have narrative further training and knowledge of/experience with the Response Based Practice method.
- It is a great advantage if you have knowledge of drug treatment.
