Senior Electronic Design EngineerLynx Recruitment is working with a leading optics and photonics company, to recruit a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join their team in Torquay.Key Responsibilities:Electronic design engineering from concept to manufacture and testLead the design of electronic sub-systems, including requirements analysis and specification developmentDesign of Laser drivers, optical detection circuits, and digital control electronicsProduce and maintain Embedded firmware/software for digital control of opto-electronic sub-systemsPerform reliability and parts stress analysis, and manage obsolescenceSupport new business opportunities and generate solutions for customersAssist with the gate review and handover process from design to productionRequirements:Industrial experience in an electronics design and development functionStrong analog/digital/mixed signal circuit design skillsExperience in firmware/software development for ARM-based microcontrollersProficient in schematic capture and PCB layout (eg, Altium)Experience with prototyping and laboratory test equipmentBachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Electronics EngineeringBenefits:Hybrid work model - 2 days WFH each week25 days holiday plus bank holidaysCompany pension (6% contribution)Company bonus schemeHealth Cash PlanSAYE Scheme
