SC Cleared Senior Engineer - MechanicalLocation:Devonport, Plymouth (Hybrid - 1-2 days/month on-site)Duration:12 monthsRate:Up to £62 per hour Inside IR35Our client, a global leader in engineering and infrastructure, is seeking aSenior Mechanical Engineerto lead technical design packages for criticalnuclear and process/plant systems.Key Responsibilities:Lead & manage mechanical design projectsEnsure compliance with safety, quality & budget standardsGuide junior engineers & oversee documentationSupport process/plant system development (piping, pumps, P&ID)Requirements:Degree in Mechanical Engineering(Chartered or working towards)Experience innuclear, marine, or safety-critical industriesStrong skills inMathcad, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, MS OfficeWork on a high-impact, national defence project with a globally recognized engineering leader.Hybrid working with flexible on-site requirements.
