Each property assimilates and is designed to highlight the unique characteristics of its host location within a carefully selected setting rich in Greek history, culture, and stunning landscapes. In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire a Sommelier. Operating always to high standards, we are seeking a Sommelier who will be responsible for maintaining the restaurant's goals regarding the quality of services related to the wines that accompany the dishes offered to the guests. The purpose of this role is to ensure the ideal combination of food and wine. Additionally, the creation and renewal of the wine collection in coordination with the chef and the procurement department are particularly important. Key responsibilities Inventory management / wine cellar Communication with guests to achieve sales targets Conducting thematic wine tastings Hosting wine tasting dinners Wine presentations Recommendations for wine and food pairings Updating the wine list Requirements WSET Level 2 Diploma and/or Oenology Studies Graduate of Modern Sommelier Study Program, Court of Master Sommeliers, and HESTIA Advanced Certificate will be considered as a plus At least 2 years of experience and expertise as a wine sommelier in a la carte restaurants or wine bars.
