Surveying Engineer

ADAPTIT is seeking a talented Surveying Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform our infrastructure projects. Your expertise will assist in the measurement and mapping of existing conditions, setting a solid foundation for effective project planning and execution. Prepare AS BUILT topographic studies and technical reports for fiber optic project licensing. Conduct field surveys using a variety of instruments to obtain accurate data on terrain, structures, and site conditions. Prepare and maintain detailed survey documentation, including maps, reports, and drawings. Utilize GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment to ensure precision in measurements. Analyze survey data to create topographical maps and profiles that inform design and development plans. Design earthmoving and optical as-built plans using design programs (AutoCAD, GIS). Supervise fiber optic projects. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to support project goals and timelines. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all surveying operations. Maintain and calibrate field equipment. Participate in site visits and meetings to communicate findings and provide input on project development. Make autopsies for the collection of data on the acquisition – licensing of mobile telephony base stations. Requirements A degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics, or a related field. At least 1-3 years of experience in surveying, preferably within the engineering or construction sectors. Proficiency in the use of survey equipment and software for data collection and analysis. Strong knowledge of land surveying methods, principles, and regulations. Experience in AutoCAD software for preparing drawings and documentation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy. Willingness to travel to different project sites as needed.
