Site Manager (Jiangsu Province, China)

Maran Tankers Management Inc., one of the world’s leading ship management companies and part of the Angelicoussis Group, is looking for an experienced and motivated Site Manager to be based in China. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for managing project execution at the shipyard, ensuring that the vessels are constructed in compliance with the agreed specifications, class rules, and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the construction of new vessels;Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and laborers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration;Quality Control: Ensure all construction activities meet the company's quality standards and comply with industry regulations;Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial efficiency;Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees;Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met;Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process;Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management;Minimum requirementsExtensive experience in constructing oil tanker vessels.
