Job Description
Are you interested in concrete case processing of personal data? Are you motivated to get routine tasks done quickly and correctly? And do you want to become part of PET and the important work of securing classified material? Then become a student assistant with us.
Become part of the work to ensure a high level of security in public Denmark As a student assistant at PET, your main tasks will be to handle cases, record keeping and solve corresponding administrative tasks. In the long run, you will be able to participate in the actual research work.
Security screening of persons who must have insight into classified or protected information is a central tool to ensure a high level of security in public Denmark. Personal security's overall goal is to ensure that people are thoroughly investigated before they are security approved by the Danish authorities. The personal safety section is experiencing increasing demand, and we expect this to continue in the coming years. We therefore need a temporary supply of good forces that will lift the many cases together with us.
We are also faced with introducing a new, modern digital solution at the same time that we develop our processes and deliveries through standardization and quality assurance. So we are currently in a period of transition that makes great demands on flexibility and commitment.
To support this, we need a number of new student assistants for 12-month employment with the possibility of extension and with employment starting around 1 June 2025. Your work tools will be the police's various registers and databases, our journaling system and our other digital solutions. You must refer to the section manager for Personal Security.

An employment relationship in PET must be treated with discretion, which you as an applicant must be aware of. This means that you can basically tell close and confidential relationships that you trust that you have applied for a position in PET, but not what the job entails.
It is a prerequisite for employment in PET that you can be security cleared, just as you must be able to maintain the security clearance throughout your employment. As a security clearance, you are expected to pay special attention to your duty of confidentiality in relation to classified information.
You will be employed on collective agreement terms in accordance with the organization agreement for office clerks in the state between the Ministry of Finance and HK/STAT as well as the OAO-S collective agreement in force at any time.
Your workplace will be at Klausdalsbrovej 1 in Søborg, right next to Buddinge station, where both S-train and bus run right to the door. At PET, we work on internal systems and with confidential tasks, which is why we also come to work every day to solve our tasks.
