Your tasks will include in particular: Carrying out structural testing in a team in accordance with DIN 1076 on bridges and retaining structures, noise protection structures and other civil engineering structures on motorways. Carrying out the main tests upon completion of construction work and before the warranty expires. Evaluating and assessing Component damage Preparation of test reports Recommendations for necessary repairs Regular business trips within the West region (Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, Saarland) for on-site structural inspections Co-design of a modern structural inspection of the West branch What you should bring with you: Completed studies in civil engineering or even Engineering courses in materials engineering, building materials technology or comparable qualification. A certificate for bridge testing, e.g. from the VFIB, is desirable (this can also be done after employment if you are sufficiently qualified). Practical experience in the areas of bridge and structural engineering, building testing and statics are an advantage.
