CAM Engineer
 

The person in the position of CAM Engineer will be responsible for designing the technology of manufacturing parts, creating 3D models according to documentation, programming according to CAD models and creating programs for CNC machines. Also, responsibilities include the modeling of electrodes where necessary, as well as the production of accompanying documentation for their production.

Responsibilities:

Creation of 3D models according to 2D documentation, modeling of parts according to samples

Designing manufacturing technology dependent on geometric, dimensional and aesthetic tolerances and requirements on parts

Programming according to CAD models and creation of NC programs together with accompanying documentation

Electrode modeling and creation of NC programs for milling

Structured and clear storage of programs and documents

Adherence to deadlines, with adherence to standardized times for operations, materials and cutting tools

Timely ordering of appropriate cutting tools

Following and implementing the latest machine technology with the latest tools and equipment

Candidate profile:

VI or VII degree of vocational qualification in technical direction as the minimum requirement of the required level of education

Previous work experience in similar positions for at least one year is desirable

Adequate knowledge about the functioning of tools, quality manufacturing technology

Knowledge of standards related to the design and construction of products and tools

Experience in working with modern milling machines and the ability to achieve very good quality and tight tolerances

Monitoring trends regarding more modern cutting tools, machines, measuring instruments

Ability to quickly adapt and make decisions, as well as strong communication skills

Expressed sense of responsibility and excellent technical understanding, desire for professional development
