Mechanical Engineer
for one of the large companies specialized in the field of civil and industrial constructions.
Position Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer coordinates all mechanical services of heating and hydrosanitary installations, both before construction and during project implementation. Supervises the installation of all mechanical/hydraulic systems included in the project. Plans, organizes and manages work to stay within budget and complete a high quality project.
DUTIES OF THE POSITION
Follows the progress of the mechanical works in stages, from the design idea, implementation and final validation, including the hydraulic installations of the Mkz Fu Fuv and HVAC infrastructure;
Plans, organizes and supervises the work of mechanical subcontractors to ensure that all works are carried out according to the parameters defined in the project and in the technical specifications of the designers;
Reviews and designs the cost of mechanical installations by preparing the total estimate based on the approved projects
Identifies the market of materials and local or foreign mechanical installers and coordinates with other departments for the selection method;
Coordinates work between different installation groups;
Approves the materials that are implemented on the construction site and completes the relevant documentation
Prepares and monitors the schedule of implementation of mechanical works in accordance with the general schedule of the facility
Prepares and controls monthly statements
Adapts minor changes to infrastructure installations, compiles the changed project and sends it to the mechanical department for approval;
It is responsible for the water supply lines of the work stations on the construction site;
Coordinates, follows and is in charge of the water supply lines from the water sources to the entrance of the construction site (including works of receiving at the sources);
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Education:
Possess a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Branch.
Experience:
Over 5 years of experience in HVAC, electrical systems, ventilation, refrigeration techniques;
Skills:
Ability to coordinate mechanical works, hydrosanitary, ventilation, cooling techniques, etc.;
Competent skills in sketching, accurate programming, installation and testing of mechanical systems;
Very good communication and interpersonal skills;
To have knowledge in construction processes and materials, as well as in project management;
AutoCAD and MS experience is a must, as is the ability to read blueprints and specifications
Knowledge in drafting business contracts for electro-mechanical installations.
