Do you want to be the engaging leader who, together with bioanalysts, doctors and other academic staff, in close cooperation with the chief bioanalyst and the other senior bioanalyst, through motivation and companionship, ensures the daily operation and development in the laboratories? Then the Department of Clinical Microbiology (KMA) at Rigshospitalet has an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking for a senior bioanalyst for a permanent position in the bacteriological area with an average working time of 37 hours per week. About us: At KMA, we annually handle approx. 300,000 patient samples. We are a dedicated and supportive team with a wide range of staff including bioanalysts, secretaries, hygiene nurses, doctors and other academic staff. Your tasks: Management of bioanalysts and laboratory technicians in the bacteriological laboratory. Daily organization and planning of work tasks as well as maintaining stable operations. Recruitment, motivation and competence development of employees. Ensure professional quality and the introduction of new analyzes and equipment in collaboration with professional managers. Development of automation and implementation of new technology. About you: Trained bioanalyst with Danish authorisation, preferably with experience in Clinical Microbiology. Interest in management, preferably with management experience in the field. Formalized management training or willingness to train yourself in the management profession. Systematic worker, but good at handling an unpredictable everyday life. Ability to balance professional management, personnel management, operational management and strategic management. Good at implementing decisions in collaboration with managers and employees. Effectiveness, good at communicating, creating cooperation and showing commitment. About the Diagnostic Center The Diagnostic Center is one of Rigshospitalet's seven centers with approx. 1,550 full-time employees and an annual turnover of DKK 1.2 billion. The core services are diagnostics and patient treatment, research and education. The Diagnostic Center supports patient treatment by annually producing more than 10 million answers to laboratory analyses, more than 650,000 imaging examinations and the center has more than 1 million contacts to patients and donors. The centre's 37 professors and other researchers annually publish more than 700 scientific articles in internationally recognized journals. The center contains the Department of X-ray and Scanning, Department of Clinical Biochemistry, Department of Pathology, Department of Clinical Immunology (Capital Region blood banks, tissue banks and tissue typing laboratory), Department of Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine, Department of Clinical Microbiology, Department of Genetics, Department of Genomic Medicine and DEKS.
