The department has a total of 125 employees, including social and health workers, social and health assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers and administrative staff. We provide care, care, practical help and nursing care to 800 citizens in home care and 440 citizens in nursing care respectively. You will be the immediate manager of the 3 department heads of home care, nursing care and visitation, respectively. In addition, you have the management of an administrative employee, developmental nurse and a dementia consultant. You have to like it up close, because Glostrup Municipality is a small municipality, with high ceilings and knowledge across the organisation.    What are we up to? We are proud that we have implemented permanent teams in home care, where we have integrated nursing care and visits in a well-functioning interdisciplinary collaboration. With this, we are already in the process of professional release and close inspection, and have a good starting point for moving from minute management to course management. We focus on rehabilitation, and in 2025 will test new solutions in the form of screen visits and digital rehabilitation. In addition, we work to strengthen quality and professionalism in the operation as well as the interdisciplinary cooperation with the Rehabilitation House, the rehabilitation and the care centres. We practice working even more cross-sectionally and thinking holistically and coherently in citizen processes.  Management in Health and Welfare You will be part of the center management in the Center for Health and Welfare. This means that you will have managerial colleagues from the seniors' centers as well as from the training, assistive technology area and the rehabilitation center. The center management group meets every 14 days and discusses common management themes, and the guiding management value for the center management is, We lead together. In addition, all managers in the center meet every 6 weeks for joint management meetings. You will also be part of Glostrup Municipality's transversal management groups, where you meet managerial colleagues from other professional areas. In addition, as Glostrup Municipality's management representative, you participate in several cross-sector cooperation forums, especially with the hospitals and surrounding municipalities.     In Glostrup Municipality, we work based on the core task of Mastering and Development.
